A survey conducted by the California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (CAN/NNOC) elicited opinions of nurses in 190 hospitals in Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Texas and found many of them feel their facilities are unprepared for the H1N1 virus.

Nurses noted inadequate isolation procedures and insufficient access to proper respirators, among other concerns. You can read more about the survey at “Survey of Nurses Says Hospitals Still Unprepared for H1N1,” on OSHA Healthcare Advisor.
