APIC takes strong stance on safe injection practices

On July 30, APIC published a position paper promoting safe injection practices as the absolute standard of care in every clinical setting.
The document identifies specific safety measures and work practices for aseptic technique, IV solutions, flushing, syringes, vials, blood glucose monitoring devices, and the protection and training of healthcare workers.
