There’s no question the job of an infection preventionist is becoming increasingly important as HAI prevention measures take a front seat in healthcare facilities across the country.
Now many healthcare workers are being thrust into the role of infection preventionist at smaller ambulatory surgery centers, physician offices, and long term care facilities.
