Although Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, based in Boston, was cited for failure to adhere to infection control guidelines just a few weeks ago, nobody can say they aren’t making an effort to fix the problems. Even with a game of tag.
In his blog last week, Paul Levy, president and CEO of Beth Israel explained how the emergency department has made hand hygiene compliance a competitive game.
