Maybe you haven’t thought about it, but at least a couple people have wondered whether excessive use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers could intoxicate employees.
This week on OSHA Healthcare Advisor, infection control expert Peggy Luebbert, MS, MT(ASCP), CIC, CHSP, owner and consultant for Healthcare Interventions, Inc., Omaha, NE, takes a look at a few studies that prove hand sanitizers can be used liberally, without reservation.
