In an effort to both test plans to distribute medicine during a health emergency and offer quick and easy flu vaccinations to residents, officials offered a one-day drive-through service to administer flu shots, according to The Record. Officials gave 1,300 free flu shots at the clinic and administered 1,000 vaccines in the first two hours alone.
