Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, November 6, 2007
Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID), introduced the Ambulatory Surgical Center Medicare Payment Modernization Act of 2007 (S. 2250) into the U.S. Senate October 26, according to the Foundation for Ambulatory Surgery in America's (FASA) Web site.
The organization encourages you to contact your U.S. senator now to urge him or her to cosign the legislation. Crapo sent a "Dear Colleague" letter to each U.S. senator asking that he or she support the legislation, reports the American Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (AAASC).
