Health Dialog Services Corporation is considering whether more intensive interventions ultimately will save much more money, based on a large trial by the vendor showing promising results. The trial provides evidence that Boston-based Health Dialog is chipping away at its goal of reducing unwarranted variation-and therefore cost-in healthcare, says David Wennberg, MD, chief science and products officer at Health Dialog. "Why did we do this? We constantly challenge ourselves to push the envelope in our mission to reduce unwarranted variation in the delivery of healthcare," says Wennberg. "Enhanced collaboration care intervention builds on Health Dialog's successful track record."
