IT adoption urged to help reduce costs of chronic care
EHR Connection, October 8, 2007
Increasing adoption of HIT can help reduce clinical and administration costs, according to the results of a Milken Institute study.

The study brings attention to two factors that are often overlooked in discussions of the impact of chronic disease-economic loss attributable to preventable illness and the cost to American businesses in lost growth.
