Stark II Phase III final rule lacks ASC news
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, October 2, 2007
CMS released the Stark II Phase III final rule September 5 in the Federal Register, but unfortunately it lacked the hoped-for implications for ASCs.
ASCs' hopes were high when CMS released its proposed revision to the 2008 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule in July, which contained important ASC issues, such as:
- Per-click and time-based space/equipment lease agreements
- "Under arrangements"
