Report says IT investments will influence hospitals' competitive position

The Healthcare Financial Management Association in Westchester, IL released a report September 20 which said that tactical investments in IT systems (e.g., e-prescribing, computerized physician order entry systems) will likely sway hospitals' enduring competitive position.
The report, "Today's Technology Spending Trends: Strategies for the Healthcare Executive," focuses on:
