PHII, ex-URAC head launch accreditation program

The Population Health Impact Institute (PHII), along with the former president and CEO of accreditation giant URAC, is launching a national accreditation program to examine claims of monetary savings and clinical improvement being made by disease management (DM) and other healthcare programs. The new "quality evaluation process" standards will be developed by a volunteer panel of national experts assembled by PHII, which was founded by epidemiologist Thomas Wilson, PhD. The panel will be chaired by former URAC head Garry Carneal.
