Medicaid members in CHF DM program fill more scripts

Medicaid members who participated in a heart failure disease management (DM) program had significantly more pharmacy prescriptions than a control group, indicating better medication compliance, according to research by McKesson Health Solutions. The study of Oregon Medicaid members was intended to evaluate the effect of congestive heart failure (CHF) DM efforts on compliance to evidence-based guideline pharmacy drug use.
