Fishing for a cure
Healthcare Strategist Trend Watch, July 13, 2007
At a recent special event held at Children's Hospital Boston, Brigham's Ice Cream revealed Mad Fish Mud with Caramel Bait; a new flavor created to help raise money for children with HIV/AIDS. The flavor was created by Charlie Moore, better know as the "Mad Fisherman," host of the New England Sports Network fishing show.
According to Brigham's, Moore's share of the proceeds from the sale of the flavor will be donated to Children's Hospital Boston's AIDS and to Boston HIV Adolescent Provider & Peer Education Network for Services (Boston HAPPENS) programs.
