Cleveland Clinic hires chief experience officer
Healthcare Strategist Trend Watch, June 22, 2007
At Cleveland Clinic, there's a new CEO.
Bridget Duffy, MD, has started as the hospital's first chief experience officer, ensuring that each patient has a hospital stay that meets their medical, physical, and emotional needs.
Duffy was most recently a healthcare consultant and advisor in San Francisco. As chief experience officer, she will advance Cleveland Clinic's Patient First Initiative by creating a culture that restores empathy as a core value and recognizes the central role that employees play in a patient's experience.
