Hospital sues former employee over information breach

An
Akron Children's Hospital filed the lawsuit against the facility's former director who was in charge of hospital donations. The hospital charges that she downloaded donor information, along with confidential and proprietary information, the newspaper reported.
In court papers, the hospital says it has asked for return of the information and contends the ex-employee has threatened to use the information for her own competitive advantage.
