Allscripts EHRs rank top among clinician users

Research group KLAS Enterprises ranked two Allscripts EHRs number one in their categories in KLAS' Top 20: Mid-Year 2007 report. The ranking, which is based on research and interviews with thousands of users, placed Allscripts' HealthMatics first among vendors providing EHRs to practices with between six and 25 physicians. It ranked the TouchWorks EHR tops for practices with between 26 and 100 physicians.
Customers also ranked both EHRs highest for delivering solutions within a set budget and in the KLAS Vendor Relationship Evaluation. According to Allscripts, the industry closely watches KLAS evaluation.
The KLAS database features the opinions of healthcare professionals from more than 4,500 facilities about more than 300 vendors and 500 different products.
