Brailer resigns from AHIC
EHR Connection, June 18, 2007
David Brailer, MD, PhD, the former national coordinator of health information technology, has resigned as vice chairman of the American Health Information Community (AHIC) due to conflict of interest concerns. He launched a private equity firm that will invest in healthcare delivery innovations. Brailer has been working closely with Health and Human Services Department Secretary Mike Leavitt, who leads AHIC.
