Don't miss CMS' roundtable on the NPI contingency plan!
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, May 8, 2007
CMS will hold a roundtable discussion on the Medicare Fee for Service (FFS) national provider identifier (NPI) contingency plan that was announced on April 20, according to the CMS Web site.
The discussion will be held on Thursday, May 10 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. EST. It will begin with a presentation of the contingency plan itself, followed by an opportunity for callers to ask CMS subject matter experts various questions.
Registration for the roundtable will end on May 9 at 2 p.m. EST, or until the session has been filled.
The moderator will be Aryeh Langer, health insurance specialist of Provider Communications Group, and the speaker will be Marlene Biggs, NPI Fee For Service Lead from the Office of Information Services.
