Preacher accused of stabbing estranged wife inside doctor's office

Healthcare Security Weekly, April 30, 2007

Minister Thomas Holloway, pastor of the Christ Temple Pentecostal Church in Forrest City, AR, was charged with stabbing his estranged wife at a doctor's office in West Memphis, reported WMC-TV.

West Memphis police said on April 23 Holloway drove to the Crittenden County Memorial Hospital's doctor's building looking for his estranged wife. He entered the doctor's office, spoke to the receptionist, and then went up to his wife and stabbed her multiple times.

West Memphis police investigators said when they walked into the waiting room, Holloway still had the knife in his hand. He raised his hand but they were able to subdue him. Police said Holloway's wife left him after four months of marriage and he wanted her to come back.
