FASA hosted a meeting at its national office with Acting Deputy Administrator Herb Kuhn, Health and Human ServicesSecretary Leavitt's Chief of Staff Rick McKeon, and a cross-section of state ASC association leaders February 27 to discuss the idea that the proposed 62% reimbursement rate for ASCs in unsustainable.
