DM insiders see bright future for industry, vendors

The disease management (DM) industry has barely tapped the potential market for services and is likely to see growth in a variety of areas in the coming year as demand for wellness services picks up in the private sector and more states jump into Medicaid DM in the public sector. In interviews with DMN, DM insiders express concern about the Medicare Health Support pilots, but remain upbeat about the future of the industry for 2007 and beyond. There are plenty of indications that the explosive growth the DM industry has enjoyed will continue, regardless of what happens with MHS, they say.
