Firms see productivity gains from obesity DM

Employers implementing obesity programs must push hard to encourage people to enroll, but once workers and their spouses are engaged, companies see benefits in the form of improved productivity and better health indicators, which could lead to lower health benefit costs. That's the word from employers and obesity program vendors, several of whom presented results during the Disease Management Association of America annual meeting in Denver in December 2006
