New organization, logo for St. Francis
Healthcare Strategist Trend Watch, February 23, 2007
Two Memphis, TN, hospitals and a handful of outpatient facilities announced last week that they would come together to form Saint Francis Healthcare, according to The Memphis Commercial Appeal. With the new organization comes a revamped logo and $500,000 advertising campaign for the health system.
Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis and Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett are both Tenet Healthcare Facilities, but the two facilities have joined with a nursing home and rehabilitation facilities to form the new umbrella organization, run locally by Saint Francis CEO and President David Archer, The Memphis Commercial Appeal says.
"This is your life. Live it well!" will be the new slogan for the health system's new advertising campaign, which will be featured on television and billboards and in area newspapers.The reorganization comes at a time when both hospitals are working to reduce deficits in their operating budgets.
