'Hello Life' mystery solved
Healthcare Strategist Trend Watch, February 15, 2007
For the past three weeks, stickers, T-shirts, flyers, and window decals with the message "Hello Life" have been seen around Birmingham, AL. But it wasn't until this week that the city found out who was behind the guerilla marketing campaign.
On Monday, Brookwood Medical Center unveiled its new television advertisements, which connect the mystery slogan to the hospital's name and logo. Debbie Hollenstein, Brookwood's marketing and public relations director told The Birmingham News that "Hello Life" captures how patients feel after a stay in the 586-bed hospital.
The campaign also celebrates a new phase for the facility, which has just completed more than $33 million worth of improvements. This spring, the hospital will begin a $63 million renovation.
The campaign was developed by Sullivan-St. Clair Marketing/Public Relations in Mobile, AL.
