Industry News: ASC operator accepts takeover offer
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, February 6, 2007
Triad Hospitals Inc., which operates 13 ASCs and 54 hospitals, accepted Monday a $4.7 billion takeover offer from affiliates of CCMP Capital Advisors and GS Capital Partners, according to Reuters.
Pressure of Triad's management to improve investor return was a driving force in Triad accepting the offer.
