The new Surgical Institute at Good Samaritan Medical Center in
Decorated with artwork and large vases of fresh flowers, the new unit was created to give the hospital a welcoming, less institutional environment to orthopedic, spine, and elective surgery patients. Each of the 24 private rooms features wireless Internet access, a flat screen television, hardwood floors, and leather furniture, including a pullout "sleeper chair" for family members who wish to stay the night.
