Keane introduces electronic charting solution
E-Health Trend Watch, January 26, 2007
Keane, Inc., of Melville, NY, a provider of business technology services, announced the introduction of its eCharting solution for long-term and postacute-care facilities. According to the company, the solution replaces error-prone manual processes used to administer medication and treatments with an automated method to manage and document care. The product includes both electronic medication administration records and treatment administration records.
It is an integrated component of the Keane NetSolutions browser-based clinical and financial solution. The product builds a current and customizable session list on demand, presenting information for each medication and treatment. To aid in identification and administration, session lists include vital patient information such as allergies, diagnoses, nursing alerts, and photos.
