E-Health Trend Watch, January 12, 2007

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation of Princeton, NJ, launched a program called Project HealthDesign to design and test ideas for how consumers can use IT to better manage their health and navigate the healthcare system. The project is a $4.1 million initiative. The foundation selected nine multidisciplinary teams that will build new tools that advance the field of personal health record systems. Each of the teams chosen will receive an 18-month, $300,000 grant.
