CCHIT expands certification to some specialties
E-Health Trend Watch, January 5, 2007
The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has authorized and funded CCHIT to expand its certification scope of work for ambulatory electronic health record products to begin addressing some medical specialties and specialized care settings.
