Shooting victim brought to hospital in bloodstained pickup

Knoxville police are investigating the shooting of a man January 2 who was brought to Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee in a bloodstained pickup truck. The 21-year-old, who was shot at least once, was brought to the emergency room and died later that day, reported the News Sentinel.
Security guards from the hospital drew their weapons on the two men who drove the shooting victim to the facility. One of the men was armed, police said. The two men were taken into police custody and were being questioned.
