Michigan health system lists medical procedure charges on the Web
E-Health Trend Watch, December 15, 2006
Spectrum Health, a health system based in Grand Rapids, MI, will begin listing estimated charges for more than 100 inpatient and outpatient procedures on its Web site, according to an article in the Detroit Free Press. The list, aimed at those trying to gauge whether charges at their local hospitals are high, is the most complete list of its kind in the state.
