Louisiana school board agrees to offer athletes PT services
Rehab Private Practice Alert, November 22, 2006
The St. James Parish (LA) School Board recently entered into a contract with Brignac Physical Therapy for Brignac to provide PT services to the school system's athletes, according to the Advocate in Baton Rouge, LA.
The school system will pay the PT facility between $30 and $60 an hour to have a PT attend all sporting events at St. James High School and treat athletes from nearby Lutcher High School as well.
Lutcher High has a physician at all games, but a PT will serve as the medical professional at all St. James High games.
