FDA finds counterfeit drugs on some Web sites

Testing by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has revealed fake versions of Lipitor and other widely used prescription drugs ordered through Web sites linked to a Canadian pharmacy. The FDA said that consumers who purchased drugs through the company's 10 sites should not use the medications, because they may not be safe. Prescriptions ordered through the site are filled by Mediplan Prescription Plus Pharmacy, also known as Mediplan Global Health.
