Group provides insurance debit cards that reveal health history
E-Health Trend Watch, November 3, 2006
Patients covered by Minneapolis-based United HealthGroup will soon receive patient identification cards that they can use as MasterCard debit cards for medical expenses. The cards will also allow physicians to access a patient's personal health information electronically and provide eligibility information.
