Health IT market to double by 2011
Healthcare Strategist Trend Watch, October 20, 2006
The healthcare information technology (IT) market will double by 2011, according to a report from market analyst firm BCC Research in Wellesley, MA. The firm predicts that in five years 51% of what should by then be a $35 billion healthcare IT market-almost $18 billion-will come from physician offices, home care, nursing homes, and hospices.
