Survey reveals double-digit increases for nine specialties 2004-2006

Overall physician compensation remained relatively stable, but nine specialties garnered double-digit increases in the median total cash compensation levels paid between 2004 and 2006, according to the 2006 Physician Compensation and Productivity Survey, published by Sullivan, Cotter and Associates (SCA).
The following specialties saw the largest increases during the two-year period:
- Neurosurgery (28.13%)
- Pathology (25.58%)
- Anesthesiology (18.90%)
- Dermatology (18.68%)
- Radiology (16.88%)
