Americans having difficulty searching for online health information
E-Health Trend Watch, October 6, 2006
According to an article in the Washington Post, 95 million Americans- about 80% of online adults-searched the Web for health information in 2005. However, more than 70% of those searchers reported that they did not find what they were looking for, or had a hard time knowing whether the content was trustworthy. Jupiter Research and Yankelovich, Inc., based these statistics on market research studies.
