Ohio University fires two computer specialists

Ohio University in Athens has fired two computer specialists in connection with a series of electronic break-ins to university records. The specialists were previously suspended, but have now been fired. The university discovered the computer system breaches in April. The systems were located in the health center, alumni office, and training center. The breaches exposed approximately 367,000 files containing Social Security numbers, names, medical records, and home addresses.
