WebMD plans to acquire Medsite
E-Health Trend Watch, September 29, 2006
WebMD Health Corp. of New York City has agreed to acquire the medical-education, promotion, and physician-recruitment business of Medsite of New York City. The $41 million cash deal is expected to close during the third quarter. Medsite works with more than 60 pharmaceutical, medical-device, and healthcare companies to support their physician-directed marketing efforts.
