Rehab clinic expands due to good location
Rehab Private Practice Alert, September 27, 2006
When the owners of the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson realized it was time to grow, they considered moving to a larger location, but none of the locations they scouted seemed right.
So instead of moving, the center expanded by doubling in size to 22,000 sq. ft., adding a pool, executive offices, an educational center, and a larger lobby, reported the Clarion (MS) Ledger.
The owners said they decided to expand instead of build because the location was very accessible and surrounded by physician's offices where they see most of their referrals.
The convenience of a familiar location and less confusion for its patients made the extra costs worth it, the clinic's administrator told the Ledger.
