CMS issues updated data file for proposed payment system
Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, September 26, 2006
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has posted an updated data file that ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) can use to help them understand the facility payment effect of the proposed ASC payment system.
The new file contains more recent outpatient prospective payment system data than the original data file posted on the site, according to a press release from CMS.
