VA firm predicts growth of health IT programs
E-Health Trend Watch, September 22, 2006
State and local healthcare and welfare IT programs are expected to grow from $7.6 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2006 to more than $12.2 billion by FY 2011, according to the government research firm Input of Reston, VA. Input cited recent government actions that will contribute to the growth (e.g., the Health Information Technology Promotion Act of 2006).
