Mississippi will deliver disease information to healthcare professionals
E-Health Trend Watch, September 1, 2006
This fall, the state Health Department in Mississippi will begin delivering disease information to health professionals by e-mail, post, or the Web in order to improve communication by allowing recipients to choose how they receive information. The department has recently been criticized for inadequately warning people about disease outbreaks and other hazards.
