Tennessee clinic refers to patients as guests
Rehab Private Practice Alert, August 30, 2006
National Neuro, a West Knoxville, TN, therapy clinic, is receiving positive reviews from patients for referring to them as guests, reported The Knoxville News-Sentinel.
The outpatient clinic specializes in treating neurological patients, especially those recovering from strokes. Referring to patients as guests is just one of the ways the clinic makes the recovery process more enjoyable, according to the News-Sentinel.
Because National Neuro only treats neurological patients, the clinic offers patients the chance to meet with others in similar situations on a regular basis. Once patients are discharged, the clinic invites them back to speak with new patients about their experiences.
