Aetna expands pricing transparency initiative

Aetna of Hartford, CT, has announced an expansion of its pricing transparency initiative to the Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, and Kansas City, MO, markets beginning August 18. It will provide online access to the rates that it has negotiated with doctors in those areas. Also, it will begin providing online access to physician pricing, clinical quality, and efficiency information in 12 more markets.
