Florida practice believes less is more
Rehab Private Practice Alert, August 16, 2006
Lanier Therapy in Gainesville, FL, is attempting to grow its practice by taking on fewer patients and spending more time with individuals, according to the Gainesville Times.
Lanier attempts to limit the number of patients each therapist sees in a day to 12 and tries to ensure that patients see the same therapist throughout an entire treatment episode.
The practice has a policy of opening early and staying open late to work around patient schedules as much as possible, reported the Times.
The formula has worked so far for Lanier, which has also opened practices in Oakwood and Flowery Branch, FL, despite competing with five other physical therapy groups in Gainesville.
