Los Angeles hospital expands telemedicine access

Physicians at Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles will be able to access the hospital's video telemedicine system remotely using personal computers with new technology from Global Care Quest of Aliso Viejo, CA. The new software allows doctors to access the system from any location using a notebook or desktop computer and a high-speed Internet connection. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
