Nevada practice focuses on wellness
Rehab Private Practice Alert, August 2, 2006
North Tahoe (NV) Physical Therapy recently completed a remodel of its practice that made the facility more focused on its patients' overall wellness, according to the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza.
The practice hired a certified massage therapist, who focuses in on rehab massages, and also made the look and feel of the building more conducive to healing, the Bonanza reported.
The remodel consisted of condensing space to improve efficiency, painting the walls softer colors, hanging photographs on the wall of local scenery, and making the waiting room more comfortable.
North Tahoe Physical Therapy proprietor Jane O'Brien told the Bonanza that the facility was trying to take a more holistic approach and liven up the spirits of its patients.
