Founder of National Surgical Care dies

Ambulatory Surgery Reimbursement Update, July 25, 2006

The cofounder of National Surgical Care (NSC) died July 16 following a brief illness, according to a statement on the NSC Web site.

E. Timothy Geary, who served as chairman, president, and chief executive officer of NSC, was 55. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May.

Based in Chicago, NSC develops, operates, and invests in ambulatory surgery centers throughout the country.
